2009 TOYOTA PORTE

Stock # 1119
$24,800
A 2009 metallic silver Porte with a Toyota factory built aluminium manual push wheelchair. At only 27,000 km this Welcab is now ready for its new owner. A light and bright cream interior is easy on the eye and makes motoring that much more pleasurable. Add to that the stylish dark grey and digital dash, the interior space and incredible engineering - you’ll be amazed at how all this can come at such a great price.

About This Car

The Toyota Porte has quickly become our most popular compact wheelchair access car because, according to customer feedback, clients love that they can actually travel in the front passenger seat with the driver beside them. They feel connected rather than being chauffeured in the rear of a larger people mover - which for many are the stereotypical wheelchair vehicles on offer.

What’s really cool is the large sliding door on the passenger side. It makes transferring in and out of the car a breeze. Add to that the compact size, great overall visibility, ease of use and excellent economy. It’s an excellent choice if bigger isn’t always better for you. It’s the perfect size for up to 4 passengers plus the person in a wheelchair.

Wheelchair Accessible Feature

Without exception, clients are amazed the first time they witness the incredible engineering of the Toyota Porte wheelchair feature. This car has an OEM wheelchair fitted into the passenger seat. The chair is hooked onto the arm for added safety. At the push of a button the arm rotates and lowers the wheelchair out of the car. Make sure you check out the video above!

The chair then detaches and the wheelchair passenger or carer can easily push the wheelchair. When re-entering the car, the wheelchair is simply positioned onto the extended electric arm which then raises the wheelchair back into the car and turns 90 degrees to return the chair back to the correct position.

Wheelchair & Car Dimensions

The powered passenger door opens to a remarkable 1165 mm tall and 1020 mm wide making it an excellent size for a wheelchair. Until we saw our first Toyota Porte we couldn’t believe how much access you genuinely get with this intelligently designed sliding door.

There is a staggering overall internal height of 1380 mm. This is due to the cleverly designed flat floor and higher roofline for the factory wheelchair access versions.

Overall Vehicle Dimensions

Height: 1720 mm
Length: 3990 mm
Width: 1690 mm

There is a very handy boot space and the rear seats can easily fold down to provide even more space if required. Perfect for a weekend away or on a shopping spree (if you are that lucky!).

Toyota Porte Engine and Economy

This Porte has a reliable 1.5 Litre 4 Cylinder 1NZ-FE engine. For the frugal ones among you this car operates at around 20.6 km/L Arguably the most fuel efficient wheelchair access car on the market today.

We’ve normally got a range of Porte’s available for inspection so please feel free to pop down and check out this fantastic wheelchair car for yourself

About this Car

One of the things that makes this vehicle so unique is its adaptability and functionality. It is these qualities which have made it popular in many countries as taxis, couriers and vans for tradies - all due to its unique interior shape, performance reliability and as mentioned above - it's adaptability. 2007 NISSAN ELGRAND

Stock # 1090
$23,800
The quintessential family car – the Elgrand is one of the quietest and smoothest rides you will ever experience. The mobility feature is a well built and sturdy middle row passenger power transfer car seat. At the push of a button the seat turns out and beyond the car and lowers to the ground. (See the photos above). This Elgrand would suit a family member who has trouble walking or getting in or out of a car. There is also plenty of room to store a walker in the rear if needed.

With just 138,000 km on the clock this car looks and drives beautifully with a price tag that’s hard to beat (especially when you factor in the accessibility feature!) The interior is a sharp looking black with a wood grain dash. The seats are black leather with a quality material insert which correspond beautifully with the black pearl exterior.

A big plus to having a middle row passenger side transfer seat as the disability feature is that when the feature is not needed it is simply used as one of the normal car seats.

About the Nissan Elgrand

The Elgrand is a full size luxury MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle). This one has a new sporty looking front shape and chromed grille. Dubbed ‘king of the van’ in Japan these cars boast a large interior space with versatile, ultra comfortable wide seats and lots of head room. It seats 7 altogether, 2 in front, 2 in the center and 3 in the rear. The rear seats easily stow to the side if needed and there is lots of room in the rear to pack anything you may need for that road trip away.

Clients love that they can walk through from the second row to the rear. We drove one for a while and our kids nicknamed it ‘the airplane car’. There is plenty of room for kids to have their own space which (lets face it) is always a plus whether on a long drive or just a short trip up the road.

Aside from the luxury drive the Elgrand has a lot of extras; all power features, dual air conditioning, two side power doors, aluminium alloy wheels, ABS brakes, airbags, reverse camera, central locking, a cabin purifier, an adaptive front lighting system and like all our cars it has been fully complied to Australian Design Regulations. This includes servicing, new tyres, air filter, oil & brake fluids and implementing child restraints.

Overall vehicle Dimensions.

Easy to park and drive, you get all the bonuses of a spacious stylish van and you can still fit into undercover parking!

Height: 1,910 mm Length: 4,830 mm Width: 1,8150mm

Nissan Elgrand Wheelchair Feature

This left side middle row passenger transfer chair sits upon an electric arm. At the touch of a button the chair swivels left 90 degrees till it faces the door, then it moves out and beyond the perimeter of the car and lowers to just above ground level. The transfer chair has a weight limit of 100 kg.

Nissan Elgrand Engine, Economy and Reliability.

You get plenty of grip and power from the 3.5 L V6 engine and as mentioned earlier the motor is wonderfully quiet. The fuel consumption is around 14 - 15 L per 100 km around town which is pretty good considering it is a 2 tonne vehicle. On the highway they perform around 10 – 11L per 100km so clearly they were built for a road trip.

Toyota and Nissan both enjoy the reputation of being one of the finest makers of cars today and locating parts if needed is not a problem in Australia.

$63,800
A 2016 diesel Toyota Hiace Commuter Welcab with 2 wheelchair spots and a power wheelchair hoist in excellent condition. This van has come out the Toyota factory as a wheelchair accessible vehicle and in our minds trumps anything you will get converted in the country. This Hiace is in great condition and it would be hard to find a wheelchair accessible vehicle with a Toyota factory setup like this. We have also added additional restraints to comply with Australian design rules and regulations (ADR) so you have the choice of what wheelchair restraints you want to use. This Hiace comes with a current engineers certificate (VSCCS) for wheelchair use Australia wide. This Hiace is located in Alice Springs.

Buying one of our Toyota Welcab wheelchair accessible vehicles is always cheaper than the European brands and also much cheaper and easier than waiting for a local conversion. All our Hiace Commuters come with both airbags and have had the recall done if needed to meet all (ADR) .

It is our opinion after years in the wheelchair car industry that the standards, vehicle knowledge and manufacturing quality of Toyota Welcabs are far superior to local aftermarket options.

We have added Q'Straints to both wheelchair spots when the vehicle arrived in Australia to meet Australian Design Rules. Again take a look at the photos above.

It is our opinion after years in the wheelchair car industry that the standards, vehicle knowledge and manufacturing quality of Toyota Welcabs are second to none. Toyota engineers have designed disability vehicles with suspension that ensures a comfortable ride for the wheelchair passenger and rear ramp systems which are extremely user friendly. When the vehicles are complied we install ADRs Oval Pockets and Q Straints.

About this Vehicle

Not surprisingly the Hiace is one of the top 3 selling commercial vans in our market. It is a trusted choice by many Australians because they know that Toyota enjoy the reputation of building the most durable and reliable vehicles in the world today.

2016 NISSAN NV200

Stock # 1053
$44,800
Style isn’t everything but the Nissan designers do a pretty good job of the NV200. This vehicle meets the age (5 years) and kilometre (80,000) requirements for the NDIS if you wish to apply for funding on vehicle modifications which are pre existing in a second hand vehicle. Please call us if you would like to speak to one of our Ndis experts on how this process works.

Here at Integrity our vehicles are ADR compliant just like any modified Kia Carnival, VW or Mercedes.
Every vehicle is engineered and modified for use Australia wide. The difference is that our vehicles are all built in factory to be used as wheelchair accessible vehicles so the suspension is specifically built to carry a wheelchair and occupant inside and the ramp fitment is exact for the vehicle it is in.

We can customise the interior wheelchair positions to exactly fit your particular wheelchair. We welcome your OT to help with this process and to complete the Ndis paperwork so that you may get funding for the wheelchair access part of the vehicle.

All our vehicles have engineers certificates: Vehicle Safety Compliance Certification Scheme (VSCCS) that meets new and current Australian Design Rules and Regulations (ADRs) for all states and territories Australia wide.

Also you can rest assured that we ONLY purchase quality vehicles, with proper airbags (some companies are importing cheaper vehicles without the passenger airbag). We do not compromise on the safety of our clients.

About this Vehicle

Released by Nissan in 2009 and winning International Van of the Year in 2010. This van has so much to offer: It seats 2 + 2 +1 and a wheelchair position. It has a large and functional interior space with options to easily remove features like seats and grab rails depending on what you need.

The exterior shape is pleasing and fits into any car park. A stunning black metallic exterior, the interior has patterned beige cloth seats that match nicely with black floor carpets, black, beige and grey dash. They also boast handy orange handrails to aid transfer in and out of the vehicle for everyone, these can be kept or removed as needed. (I suggest you take a look at the photos above). Added to this it has travelled a mere 74,000 km but most importantly it is obvious that it has been regularly serviced (we recommend a Service every 10,000 km) and well looked after.

Wheelchair Features

The Vanette Life Care is a specialized version of NV200 Vanette with a wheelchair entrance at the rear. The Nissan engineers have created a simple and effective design where a wheelchair can be easily and safely loaded into what is essentially a small van.

These specialised vans are all custom made so they have different wheelchair accessibility features. This one has room in the rear to fit 1 wheelchair, 2 seats in the middle row, 2 in the front and one seat next to the wheelchair. The middle seats are bolted to the floor and can easily be removed if they are not needed. This gives the added option of a much larger space for the wheelchair occupant to use if needed.

The rear ramp is light weight and aluminium which is manually pulled out and lowered to the ground. The wheelchair spot has 4 Oval pockets to fix the wheelchair to the floor in 4 places, front and back. There is a video coming soon which will show how these work. Remember that we can move these points and customise them to fit your particular wheelchair if needed.

Being a van, they have plenty of interior room for passengers to move within. This is absolutely a plus for a wheelchair access vehicle especially if you’re travelling and need extra room for all the bits and bobs you may need to travel with.

Our clients often say it’s important for them to be able to see through the windows of a car easily - these vans have excellent vision for all within. Our clients have also expressed their surprise when discovering how easy the NV200 is to drive – the joy of powered steering means the van drives like a small car but with all the added space, versatility, visibility and comfort of a larger car that’s actually not that much bigger than a sedan (check out car measurements below)

All this value in a car for a price that is less than the price of a local aftermarket ramp – amazing but true!

Engine, Economy & Reliability

A 1.6L 4 Cylinder HR16DE petrol engine which according to Nissan travels approx. 14 km per litre which is good value motoring.

Toyota and Nissan engines are world renowned for their longevity and reliability which is why they are the main brands we now stock. As long as their car engines are well serviced, they are built to travel hundreds of thousands of km with ease. We’ve even seen a client’s Toyota with 1,000,000 km on the clock. The car was retired to a farm but still going strong!

2014 NISSAN SERENA

Stock # 954
$42,800
This 2014 Nissan Serena Lifecare wheelchair accessible vehicle has a remote operated rear hoist and a front passenger seat power transfer seat. The dual mobility features of this van make it easier and ideal for someone that is in a wheelchair but can still transfer into the front transfer seat. This means they would transfer into the front transfer seat and have the wheelchair placed and stored in the back on the wheelchair hoist giving you 3 seats in the center and 2 in front including the front transfer seat and the wheelchair in the back. It is great value for a mobility vehicle. The wheelchair hoist and restraints are made in the Nissan factory by Nissan's engineers. Their vehicles enjoy a reputation of being reliable and functional.

About this Car

The Nissan Serena was the best-selling minivan in Japan in 2007, 2008 and 2009 and it’s easy to see why. The Serena began production in 1991 and this 2013 model is its 4th generation. Check out the photos and video above and you'll see that it has a smooth modern exterior with all the benefits of a minivan; tons of interior space but without the boxy look. The large rectangular windows give excellent lighting in the cabin and a wide view of the road for all passengers. The long rear tail lights add to the modern aesthetics giving it quite a sleek look.

There is plenty of legroom and all seats are adjustable. Electric sliding doors on each side make embarking and disembarking particularly easy for passengers. There are cup holders and door panel storage, a glove box, center box and cup holders for everyone.

Wheelchair Features

All the wheelchair features in the Serena were engineered by Autech in collaboration with Nissan.
In Japan clients choose the accessibility feature they require and the vehicle is built which is why all our Serena's are unique.

This vehicle has a rear power wheelchair hoist which is operated by corded remote. When lowered the wheelchair passenger rolls on to the platform and is secured by Q'Straints. The lift is both simple to use and reduces strain on a carer. The carer can choose to engage the electric lift to waist height and connect and release restraints from this position rather than from the ground. The wheelchair person has a lap sash which is connected onto the hoist platform and a shoulder strap which is put on once the w/c person is inside the vehicle.

The wheelchair hoist has a weight limit of 170 kg so this is perfect for a child in a smaller wheelchair or for someone who can transfer into the car but still needs to transport a wheelchair and the carer can easily do this without bending or lifting. There are plenty of high quality safety rails in the second row for passengers if needed. Feedback from clients is that the suspension for the wheelchair passenger is excellent because it was designed specifically with them in mind.

This Serena comes with a engineers certificate (VSCCS) that comply with current Australian Design Rules (ADRs) by an RMS appointed engineer for wheelchair use Australia wide.

It's important that you measure the wheelchair person sitting in their wheelchair from ground level to the top of their head to ensure this vehicle is the right dimensions for them.

Nissan Serena Engine and Economy

This fourth generation Serena has a 2L 4 Cylinder MR20 petrol engine. The 4 Cylinder gave this model an improved acceleration and aided in helping reduce vehicle emissions. The transmission is CVT which aids in increasing fuel efficiency. It also has an eco idling stop feature and travels around 15.4 km/L.
