2014 TOYOTA PORTE

Stock # 1064
$33,500
This flash cherry red 2014 Porte has only 13,155 km on the dash, is like new and lets be honest we all know red cars go faster. The Portes & Spades have been very popular with older couples and small families that have a loved one who needs a wheelchair and doesn't want a bigger car. The interior of the vehicle is spacious for a small hatchback with a great size boot but the most amazing part of this car is its wheelchair accessible feature (see the photos above). We have added a new Toyota Carplay stereo system that can be paired with smartphones and comes with Bluetooth and reverse camera.

About This Car

The Toyota Porte & Spades have quickly become one of our most popular compact wheelchair access car because, according to customer feedback, clients love that they can actually travel in the front passenger seat with the driver beside them.

What’s really cool is the large sliding door on the passenger side. It makes transferring in and out of the car a breeze. Add to that the compact size, great overall visibility, ease of use and excellent economy. It’s an excellent choice if bigger isn’t always better for you. It’s the perfect size for to 2 passengers plus the person in a wheelchair.

Wheelchair Accessible Feature

Without exception, clients are amazed the first time they witness the incredible engineering of the Toyota Porte wheelchair feature. This car has an OEM - Original Equipment Manufactured - push wheelchair fitted into the passenger seat.

The wheelchair sits on an electric rotational arm which rotates, extends out of the vehicle and lowers to the ground. The chair then detaches and the wheelchair passenger or carer can easily use the manual wheelchair. The design of the wheelchair and the large aluminium wheels makes the wheelchair extremely easy for the occupant or carer to push and manoeuvre.

When re-entering the car, the wheelchair is simply positioned onto the extended electric arm. Cables hook onto the rear of the wheelchair for safety and then the arm raises the wheelchair back into the car and turns 90 degrees to return the chair to the correct position.

Wheelchair & Car Dimensions

The powered passenger door opens to a remarkable 1165mm tall and 1020mm wide making it an excellent size for a wheelchair to enter and exit. Until we saw our first Toyota Porte we couldn’t believe how much access you genuinely get with this intelligently designed sliding door.

There is a staggering overall internal height of 138 cm. This is due to the cleverly designed flat floor and higher roofline for the factory wheelchair access versions.

Overall Vehicle Dimensions

Height: 172 cm
Length: 399 cm
Width: 169 cm

Toyota Porte Engine and Economy

This Porte has a reliable 1.5 Litre 4 Cylinder 1NZ-FE engine. For the frugal ones among you this car operates at around 20.6 km/L Arguably the most fuel efficient wheelchair access car on the market today.

We’ve got the largest range of Toyota Welcab's and Nissan LIfecare wheelchair accessible vehicles in the country so please feel free to pop down and check out this fantastic wheelchair car for yourself. $54,800

We welcome working with your OT to ensure the restraints are in the correct position and you and your wheelchair are travelling safely in the vehicle.

About the Toyota Alphard

This Alphard is what we call a 7 seater. It seats 2 in front 1 in the middle, 3 in the rear plus one wheelchair position. It also can seat 2 in front, 1 in the middle plus 2 wheelchair positions and of course it also seats 6 without the wheelchair. These cars were designed to be simple to use and have comfort in mind. The bucket velour seats are wide and soft with plenty of legroom. The rear seats are incredibly simple to operate.

With full electrical component features the Alphard has all the extras you’d expect - power windows, mirrors, AC, auto side power doors (operational from a button on the dash), interior ‘mood’ lighting and many more, You can check out all the features listed below.

Of all the things that are impressive about the Alphard our clients are amazed by its quiet motor and handling. It is a dream to drive - especially on the highway - but most importantly it was built to carry wheelchairs so the suspension is developed accordingly and the wheelchair passengers are super comfortable.

Toyota Alphard Wheelchair Feature

Inside the car, Original Engineered and Manufactured (OEM) retractable belts secure the front of the wheelchair and Integrity have installed Floor Anchorage Pockets which meet Australian Design Rules. Retractors connect the wheelchair to the floor. They have a red lever which release the belt so the end hook can be attached to the wheelchair.

State rules are often changing but at present in Australia the original equipment accessibility features of the Welcabs meet regulations for wheelchairs travelling in vehicles in all states except Qld where regulations require Q'Straint pockets and retractor connectors which we have installed in the vehicle. Please see the video above to watch how it all works!

As we mentioned above and contrary to what some of our competitors say we CAN install and change positions of Q'Straints in our cars. Please give us a call to come and see us so we can assist you.

These vehicles are 'Slopers' which refers to the hydraulic sloping mechanism in the rear of the car. When activated the rear of the vehicle lowers and an electric ramp unfolds at the same time. The lightweight yet strong aluminium ramp touches the ground at a 9 to 12 degree angle which is an easier gradient for a wheelchair to access.

All this value in a car for a price that is less than the price of a local aftermarket ramp – amazing but true!

2016 NISSAN NV200

Stock # 1053
$42,900
Style isn’t everything but the Nissan designers do a pretty good job of the NV200. This vehicle meets the age (5 years) and kilometre (80,000) requirements for the NDIS if you wish to apply for funding on vehicle modifications which are pre existing in a second hand vehicle. Please call us if you would like to speak to one of our Ndis experts on how this process works.

Here at Integrity our vehicles are ADR compliant just like any modified Kia Carnival, VW or Mercedes.
Every vehicle is engineered and modified for use Australia wide. The difference is that our vehicles are all built in factory to be used as wheelchair accessible vehicles so the suspension is specifically built to carry a wheelchair and occupant inside and the ramp fitment is exact for the vehicle it is in.

We can customise the interior wheelchair positions to exactly fit your particular wheelchair. We welcome your OT to help with this process and to complete the Ndis paperwork so that you may get funding for the wheelchair access part of the vehicle.

All our vehicles have engineers certificates: Vehicle Safety Compliance Certification Scheme (VSCCS) that meets new and current Australian Design Rules and Regulations (ADRs) for all states and territories Australia wide.

Also you can rest assured that we ONLY purchase quality vehicles, with proper airbags (some companies are importing cheaper vehicles without the passenger airbag). We do not compromise on the safety of our clients.

About this Vehicle

Released by Nissan in 2009 and winning International Van of the Year in 2010. This van has so much to offer: It seats 2 + 2 +1 and a wheelchair position. It has a large and functional interior space with options to easily remove features like seats and grab rails depending on what you need.

The exterior shape is pleasing and fits into any car park. A stunning black metallic exterior, the interior has patterned beige cloth seats that match nicely with black floor carpets, black, beige and grey dash. They also boast handy orange handrails to aid transfer in and out of the vehicle for everyone, these can be kept or removed as needed. (I suggest you take a look at the photos above). Added to this it has travelled a mere 74,000 km but most importantly it is obvious that it has been regularly serviced (we recommend a Service every 10,000 km) and well looked after.

Wheelchair Features

The Vanette Life Care is a specialized version of NV200 Vanette with a wheelchair entrance at the rear. The Nissan engineers have created a simple and effective design where a wheelchair can be easily and safely loaded into what is essentially a small van.

These specialised vans are all custom made so they have different wheelchair accessibility features. This one has room in the rear to fit 1 wheelchair, 2 seats in the middle row, 2 in the front and one seat next to the wheelchair. The middle seats are bolted to the floor and can easily be removed if they are not needed. This gives the added option of a much larger space for the wheelchair occupant to use if needed.

The rear ramp is light weight and aluminium which is manually pulled out and lowered to the ground. The wheelchair spot has 4 Oval pockets to fix the wheelchair to the floor in 4 places, front and back. There is a video coming soon which will show how these work. Remember that we can move these points and customise them to fit your particular wheelchair if needed.

Being a van, they have plenty of interior room for passengers to move within. This is absolutely a plus for a wheelchair access vehicle especially if you’re travelling and need extra room for all the bits and bobs you may need to travel with.

Our clients often say it’s important for them to be able to see through the windows of a car easily - these vans have excellent vision for all within. Our clients have also expressed their surprise when discovering how easy the NV200 is to drive – the joy of powered steering means the van drives like a small car but with all the added space, versatility, visibility and comfort of a larger car that’s actually not that much bigger than a sedan (check out car measurements below)

All this value in a car for a price that is less than the price of a local aftermarket ramp – amazing but true!

2010 TOYOTA VELLFIRE

Stock # 1045
$42,800
A 2010 metallic black Toyota Vellfire Welcab with a rear wheelchair spot. This Vellfire has been well looked after and is in great condition. The rear of the car lowers hydraulically and the ramp folds out onto the ground to allow a reduced and safe incline for the wheelchair to enter the car (Sloper). The Vellfire will give you years of trouble free motoring in style.

Remember – these Welcabs (wheelchair vehicles) are made in the Toyota factory in Japan and built to carry wheelchair passengers so the suspension and interior accessibility fitout is exceptional. Feedback from wheelchair passengers is that they are impressed with how comfortable it is to ride inside the vehicle. This Vellfire comes with a VSCCS (Engineers certificate) for wheelchair use by an RMS appointed engineer that covers all states and territories Australia wide.

About the Vellfire

These cars were designed with ease of use and comfort in mind. It has exceptional handling stability and a roomy interior which lends itself well to be an ideal transport for wheelchair passengers. The bucket velour seats are wide and soft with plenty of legroom. The rear seats are incredibly simple to operate.

With full electrical component features the Vellfire has all the extras you’d expect - power windows, mirrors, AC, a second row passenger side power door (operational from a button on the dash), interior ‘mood’ lighting (again – from a button on the dash). Toyota Carplay stereo with Reverse Camera and Bluetooth (check out all the features listed below), ultra soft quality seats and carpets.

Of all the things that are impressive about the Vellfire our clients are mostly amazed by its quiet motor and handling - especially on the highway. They also tell us they enjoy sitting up above the traffic so their vision is greatly increased along with their feeling of safety for themselves and their wheelchair passenger.

Toyota Vellfire Wheelchair Feature

When inside the car, Original Engineered and Manufactured (OEM) retractable belts and wire cables safely and securely lock the wheelchair in place for safe motoring. At the push of a button the belts and wire cables lock the wheelchair into a fixed position so the wheelchair is extremely safe.

We also fit International standard ‘Q-Straints’ or similar to each car to meet Australian Design Regulations (ADR’s) when required. This gives you an additional method to further secure your wheelchair for your safety. In our opinion local aftermarket conversions simply cannot match the standards, resources, vehicle knowledge, and manufacturing quality of Toyota. That’s why Toyota’s welcab vehicles are so superior.

Wheelchair & Car Dimensions

Approximate Interior dimensions of the wheelchair seating position are as follows:
Rear Wheelchair Spot: Height: 140 cm Length: 110 cm Width: 70 cm.

We welcome you to bring your OT with you when viewing our cars so you ensure correct placement of the floor pockets for yourself and your particular w/c.

About this Car

The Vellfire was designed in 2008 as a variant of the Alphard. At the time of release the Vellfire was described as having 'strength and strong individuality'. As mentioned above the first thing you notice is that the Vellfire is more impressive. It has wide bucket seats, ultra soft lush fabric, beautiful cream interior with bold dark grey and wood grain finish on the dash and trim. The exterior metallic silver colour adds to that luxurious feel.

The Alphard and Vellfire are both known for their exceptional handling stability. You'll understand when you test drive one. Feedback from clients are that they are impressed with how well it drives. Wheelchair occupants also tell us they love that the suspension has been built with them in mind. It really is the perfect vehicle for highway driving.

Scroll down and click on the 'Features' tab to view all the extras this vehicle can offer. Also Integrity can install a touch screen stereo with Bluetooth, Reverse Camera, GPS and it can pair to your smart phone.

Toyota Vellfire Wheelchair Feature

This car is what we call a Sloper which means the wheelchair access is at the back of the car and the ramp lowers by remote. As the ramp lowers the rear of the vehicle also lowers hydraulically which creates an angle of 9-11 degrees - a small incline for the wheelchair occupant to enter and exit the vehicle with ease.

The vehicle has its Original Equipment including front belts on a winch system operated by a hand held remote. Integrity have engineered after market Oval floor pockets into the wheelchair positions of this vehicle to meet Australian Design Rules. Check out the video above to see how these work.

To meet Compliance we have positioned the Oval pockets at placements which would fit a 'standard wheelchair' but we can change these to perfectly suit your wheelchair. We can flatten the floor in the mid position to create more available height. We can move the middle row chair and have the wheelchair pockets and restraints in the middle of the second row. Any adjustments done are signed off and certified by our engineer.

This vehicle is built as a wheelchair access vehicle in the factory so as mentioned above the suspension is purpose built to carry a wheelchair occupant in the rear so no surprises that our wheelchair occupant clients are impressed (and often relieved) with how comfortable it is to ride in.

Stock # 1035
$59,800
A 2012 pearl white Toyota Vellfire Welcab with the very rare and hard to find dual accessibility features at an affordable price like this one. This mobility car won't be here long!. The front passenger seat is a transfer chair that sits on an electric turntable that turns the chair and extends it out of the car (see pictures above). The rear of the car lowers hydraulically and the ramp folds out onto the ground to allow a reduced and safe incline for the wheelchair to enter the car (Sloper). Travelled just 58,600 km, the Vellfire will give you years of trouble free motoring in style.

Remember – these Welcabs (wheelchair vehicles) are made in the Toyota factory in Japan and built to carry wheelchair passengers so the suspension and interior accessibility fitout is exceptional. Also it is easy to transfer down - so from wheelchair down to the passenger seat and vice versa.
