2014 TOYOTA PORTE

Stock # 1064
$33,500
This flash cherry red 2014 Porte has only 13,155 km on the dash, is like new and lets be honest we all know red cars go faster. The Portes & Spades have been very popular with older couples and small families that have a loved one who needs a wheelchair and doesn't want a bigger car. The interior of the vehicle is spacious for a small hatchback with a great size boot but the most amazing part of this car is its wheelchair accessible feature (see the photos above). We have added a new Toyota Carplay stereo system that can be paired with smartphones and comes with Bluetooth and reverse camera.

About This Car

The Toyota Porte & Spades have quickly become one of our most popular compact wheelchair access car because, according to customer feedback, clients love that they can actually travel in the front passenger seat with the driver beside them.

What’s really cool is the large sliding door on the passenger side. It makes transferring in and out of the car a breeze. Add to that the compact size, great overall visibility, ease of use and excellent economy. It’s an excellent choice if bigger isn’t always better for you. It’s the perfect size for to 2 passengers plus the person in a wheelchair.

Wheelchair Accessible Feature

Without exception, clients are amazed the first time they witness the incredible engineering of the Toyota Porte wheelchair feature. This car has an OEM - Original Equipment Manufactured - push wheelchair fitted into the passenger seat.

The wheelchair sits on an electric rotational arm which rotates, extends out of the vehicle and lowers to the ground. The chair then detaches and the wheelchair passenger or carer can easily use the manual wheelchair. The design of the wheelchair and the large aluminium wheels makes the wheelchair extremely easy for the occupant or carer to push and manoeuvre.

When re-entering the car, the wheelchair is simply positioned onto the extended electric arm. Cables hook onto the rear of the wheelchair for safety and then the arm raises the wheelchair back into the car and turns 90 degrees to return the chair to the correct position.

Wheelchair & Car Dimensions

The powered passenger door opens to a remarkable 1165mm tall and 1020mm wide making it an excellent size for a wheelchair to enter and exit. Until we saw our first Toyota Porte we couldn’t believe how much access you genuinely get with this intelligently designed sliding door.

There is a staggering overall internal height of 138 cm. This is due to the cleverly designed flat floor and higher roofline for the factory wheelchair access versions.

Overall Vehicle Dimensions

Height: 172 cm
Length: 399 cm
Width: 169 cm

Toyota Porte Engine and Economy

This Porte has a reliable 1.5 Litre 4 Cylinder 1NZ-FE engine. For the frugal ones among you this car operates at around 20.6 km/L Arguably the most fuel efficient wheelchair access car on the market today.

We’ve got the largest range of Toyota Welcab's and Nissan LIfecare wheelchair accessible vehicles in the country so please feel free to pop down and check out this fantastic wheelchair car for yourself. And if you can't get to Sydney yourself we may just have a vehicle available for you to look at nearby from one of our many happy clients who has already purchased one.

2012 TOYOTA ALPHARD

Stock # 1061
$54,800
This 2012 Toyota Alphard Welcab sloper has 2 wheelchair positions. One in the middle and one in the rear. As is often the case this vehicle has been well looked after and is in excellent condition inside and out. Just so you know - Integrity can install and change Q'Straint positions in our vehicles. We welcome working with your OT to ensure the restraints are in the correct position and you and your wheelchair are travelling safely in the vehicle.

About the Toyota Alphard

This Alphard is what we call a 7 seater. It seats 2 in front 1 in the middle, 3 in the rear plus one wheelchair position. It also can seat 2 in front, 1 in the middle plus 2 wheelchair positions and of course it also seats 6 without the wheelchair. These cars were designed to be simple to use and have comfort in mind. The bucket velour seats are wide and soft with plenty of legroom. The rear seats are incredibly simple to operate.

With full electrical component features the Alphard has all the extras you’d expect - power windows, mirrors, AC, auto side power doors (operational from a button on the dash), interior ‘mood’ lighting and many more, You can check out all the features listed below.

Of all the things that are impressive about the Alphard our clients are amazed by its quiet motor and handling. It is a dream to drive - especially on the highway - but most importantly it was built to carry wheelchairs so the suspension is developed accordingly and the wheelchair passengers are super comfortable.

Toyota Alphard Wheelchair Feature

Inside the car, Original Engineered and Manufactured (OEM) retractable belts secure the front of the wheelchair and Integrity have installed Floor Anchorage Pockets which meet Australian Design Rules. Retractors connect the wheelchair to the floor. They have a red lever which release the belt so the end hook can be attached to the wheelchair.

State rules are often changing but at present in Australia the original equipment accessibility features of the Welcabs meet regulations for wheelchairs travelling in vehicles in all states except Qld where regulations require Q'Straint pockets and retractor connectors which we have installed in the vehicle. Please see the video above to watch how it all works!

As we mentioned above and contrary to what some of our competitors say we CAN install and change positions of Q'Straints in our cars. Please give us a call to come and see us so we can assist you.

These vehicles are 'Slopers' which refers to the hydraulic sloping mechanism in the rear of the car. When activated the rear of the vehicle lowers and an electric ramp unfolds at the same time. The lightweight yet strong aluminium ramp touches the ground at a 9 to 12 degree angle which is an easier gradient for a wheelchair to access.

Wheelchair & Car Dimensions

Approximate Interior dimensions of the wheelchair seating position are as follows:
Second Row: Height: 135 cm | Length: 100 cm | Width: 70 cm.
Rear: Height 140 cm | Length: 110 cm | Width: 70 cm

Overall Vehicle Dimensions
Height: 1935 mm Length: 4865 mm Width: 1830 mm

Toyota Alphard Engine, Economy & Reliability

This Alphard is a 2.4 L automatic. Toyota engines are world renown for their longevity and reliability which is why it’s the main brand we now stock. It is also a reason why Toyota has a long history of being the largest selling manufacturer in the world. If you’re after reliability for your wheelchair vehicle, you’re after a Toyota Welcab – it really is that simple.

Please call us if you would like to speak to one of our Ndis experts on how this process works.

This NV200 boasts 5 seats plus a wheelchair spot in the rear. Being a van, they have plenty of interior room for passengers to move within. About this Vehicle

This is a sleek 2017 Nissan NV200 with a manual pull-out ramp and rear wheelchair spot. All restraints, ramp and wheelchair features of this van made in the Nissan factory by Lifecare which is the wheelchair and mobility vehicle range similar to Toyota Welcab. It seats 5 plus the wheelchair position in the rear. With only a verified 59,000 km on the dash (we have all paperwork) this NV200 drives like new.

Released by Nissan in 2009 and winning International Van of the Year in 2010. This new look NV200 has so much to offer: A large and functional interior space - the grab rails and seats can be taken out and put back in fairly easily. A stunning black exterior and a stylish modern shape. (Take a look at the photos and video above). We have also fitted this van with a new stereo system that has reverse camera, Bluetooth just to list a few things.

Our clients often say it’s important for them to be able to see through the windows of a car easily - these vans have excellent vision for all within. Our clients have also expressed their surprise when discovering how easy the NV200 is to drive – it really does drive like a small car but with all the added space, versatility, visibility and comfort of a larger car that’s actually not that much bigger than a sedan.

All this value in a car for a price that is less than the price of a local aftermarket ramp – amazing but true!

Wheelchair Features

The Vanette Life Care is a specialized version of NV200 Vanette with a wheelchair entrance at the rear. The Nissan engineers have created a simple and effective design where a wheelchair can be easily and safely loaded into what is essentially a small van.

The Original wheelchair system is in the vehicle and Integrity has added 4 Oval Pockets in the wheelchair position. Q Straint retractors can be fitted into the oval pockets and secured to the wheelchair. Take a look at the video above to see this. As mentioned above all our vehicles are complied and engineered to meet Australian Design Rules.

Wheelchair & Car Dimensions

Approximate interior dimensions of the wheelchair seating positions are as follows:
Height: 140cm | Length: 105cm | Width: 77cm

It's very important that you measure the wheelchair person sitting in their wheelchair from ground level to the top of their head to ensure this vehicle is right for them.

Engine, Economy & Reliability

The NV200 has a 1.6L 4 Cylinder HR16DE petrol engine which travels approximately 14km per litre which is good value motoring.

Toyota and Nissan engines are world renowned for their longevity and reliability which is why they are the main brands we now stock. As long as their car engines are well serviced, (every 10,000 km) they are built to travel hundreds of thousands of km with ease. We’ve even seen a client’s Toyota with 1,000,000km on the clock and the car was still going strong!

2010 TOYOTA VELLFIRE

Stock # 1045
$42,800
A 2010 metallic black Toyota Vellfire Welcab with a rear wheelchair spot. This Vellfire has been well looked after and is in great condition. The rear of the car lowers hydraulically and the ramp folds out onto the ground to allow a reduced and safe incline for the wheelchair to enter the car (Sloper). The Vellfire will give you years of trouble free motoring in style.

Remember – these Welcabs (wheelchair vehicles) are made in the Toyota factory in Japan and built to carry wheelchair passengers so the suspension and interior accessibility fitout is exceptional. Feedback from wheelchair passengers is that they are impressed with how comfortable it is to ride inside the vehicle. This Vellfire comes with a VSCCS (Engineers certificate) for wheelchair use by an RMS appointed engineer that covers all states and territories Australia wide.

About the Vellfire

These cars were designed with ease of use and comfort in mind. It has exceptional handling stability and a roomy interior which lends itself well to be an ideal transport for wheelchair passengers. The bucket velour seats are wide and soft with plenty of legroom. The rear seats are incredibly simple to operate.

With full electrical component features the Vellfire has all the extras you’d expect - power windows, mirrors, AC, a second row passenger side power door (operational from a button on the dash), interior ‘mood’ lighting (again – from a button on the dash). Toyota Carplay stereo with Reverse Camera and Bluetooth (check out all the features listed below), ultra soft quality seats and carpets.

Of all the things that are impressive about the Vellfire our clients are mostly amazed by its quiet motor and handling - especially on the highway. They also tell us they enjoy sitting up above the traffic so their vision is greatly increased along with their feeling of safety for themselves and their wheelchair passenger.

Toyota Vellfire Wheelchair Feature

When inside the car, Original Engineered and Manufactured (OEM) retractable belts and wire cables safely and securely lock the wheelchair in place for safe motoring. At the push of a button the belts and wire cables lock the wheelchair into a fixed position so the wheelchair is extremely safe.

We also fit International standard ‘Q-Straints’ or similar to each car to meet Australian Design Regulations (ADR’s) when required. This gives you an additional method to further secure your wheelchair for your safety. In our opinion local aftermarket conversions simply cannot match the standards, resources, vehicle knowledge, and manufacturing quality of Toyota. That’s why Toyota’s welcab vehicles are so superior.

Wheelchair & Car Dimensions

Approximate Interior dimensions of the wheelchair seating position are as follows:
Rear Wheelchair Spot: Height: 140 cm Length: 110 cm Width: 70 cm.
Seating: 5 passengers + 1 wheelchair person or 7 to 8 people when the wheelchair spot is not being used.

Any adjustments done are signed off and certified by our engineer.

2014 NISSAN SERENA

Stock # 954
$42,800
This 2014 Nissan Serena Lifecare wheelchair accessible vehicle has a remote operated rear hoist and a front passenger seat power transfer seat. The dual mobility features of this van make it easier and ideal for someone that is in a wheelchair but can still transfer into the front transfer seat. This means they would transfer into the front transfer seat and have the wheelchair placed and stored in the back on the wheelchair hoist giving you 3 seats in the center and 2 in front including the front transfer seat and the wheelchair in the back. It is great value for a mobility vehicle. The wheelchair hoist and restraints are made in the Nissan factory by Nissan's engineers. Their vehicles enjoy a reputation of being reliable and functional.

About this Car

The Nissan Serena was the best-selling minivan in Japan in 2007, 2008 and 2009 and it’s easy to see why. The Serena began production in 1991 and this 2013 model is its 4th generation. Check out the photos and video above and you'll see that it has a smooth modern exterior with all the benefits of a minivan; tons of interior space but without the boxy look. The large rectangular windows give excellent lighting in the cabin and a wide view of the road for all passengers. The long rear tail lights add to the modern aesthetics giving it quite a sleek look.

There is plenty of legroom and all seats are adjustable. Electric sliding doors on each side make embarking and disembarking particularly easy for passengers. There are cup holders and door panel storage, a glove box, center box and cup holders for everyone.

Wheelchair Features

All the wheelchair features in the Serena were engineered by Autech in collaboration with Nissan.
In Japan clients choose the accessibility feature they require and the vehicle is built which is why all our Serena's are unique.

This vehicle has a rear power wheelchair hoist which is operated by corded remote. When lowered the wheelchair passenger rolls on to the platform and is secured by Q'Straints. The lift is both simple to use and reduces strain on a carer. The carer can choose to engage the electric lift to waist height and connect and release restraints from this position rather than from the ground. The wheelchair person has a lap sash which is connected onto the hoist platform and a shoulder strap which is put on once the w/c person is inside the vehicle.

The wheelchair hoist has a weight limit of 170 kg so this is perfect for a child in a smaller wheelchair or for someone who can transfer into the car but still needs to transport a wheelchair and the carer can easily do this without bending or lifting. There are plenty of high quality safety rails in the second row for passengers if needed. Feedback from clients is that the suspension for the wheelchair passenger is excellent because it was designed specifically with them in mind.

This Serena comes with a engineers certificate (VSCCS) that comply with current Australian Design Rules (ADRs) by an RMS appointed engineer for wheelchair use Australia wide.

Wheelchair & Car Dimensions

Entrance height:115cmm
Wheelchair Spot: Height: 130 cm | Width: 72 cm |Length: 96 cm

Overall Vehicle Dimensions:
Height: 187 cm | Width: 173 | Length: 477 cm

It's important that you measure the wheelchair person sitting in their wheelchair from ground level to the top of their head to ensure this vehicle is the right dimensions for them.

Nissan Serena Engine and Economy

This fourth generation Serena has a 2L 4 Cylinder MR20 petrol engine. The 4 Cylinder gave this model an improved acceleration and aided in helping reduce vehicle emissions. The transmission is CVT which aids in increasing fuel efficiency. It also has an eco idling stop feature and travels around 15.4 km/L.
