2003 TOYOTA ALPHARD

Stock # 1060
$26,800
A 2 wheelchair spot 2003 Toyota Alphard Sloper in great condition with only 122,100 km on the dash. Don't let the age scare you away - it is sometimes better value for money to purchase a vehicle a little older but still in great condition and with many years of motoring ahead! This Alphard has been well looked after inside and out. In our opinion here at Integrity the Alphard has been the most popular wheelchair accessible vehicle look at the photos and you will see why.

About this Vehicle
This Alphard is ready to change its new owner's lives for the best giving them the freedom to travel around in style and comfort. The Alphard and Vellfire are like the luxury van like Limousine's in Asia people can't get enough of them.

With full electrical component features the Alphard has all the extras you’d expect - power windows, mirrors, AC, a second-row passenger side power door (operational from a button on the dash), interior ‘mood’ lighting (again – from a button on the dash). Toyota Carplay stereo, Reverse Camera just to name a few (check out all the features listed below).

Of all the things that are impressive about the Alphard our clients are mostly amazed by its quiet motor and handling - especially on the highway. They also tell us they enjoy sitting up above the traffic so their vision is greatly increased along with their feeling of safety for themselves and their wheelchair passenger.

Wheelchair Features
The Toyota Alphard is specially designed in factory by Toyota’s engineers and they are built with a welcab feature such as a sloper, a transfer chair or a transfer wheelchair.

This Alphard is a sloper – it is named after the hydraulic sloping mechanism in the rear of the vehicle. As the car lowers an electric ramp unfolds at the same time. The lightweight yet strong aluminium ramp touches the ground at a 9 to 12-degree angle allowing a gentle incline for the wheelchair occupant to be loaded into the car.

When inside the car, Original Engineered and Manufactured (OEM) retractable belts and wire cables safely and securely lock the wheelchair in place for safe motoring. At the push of a button the belts and wire cables lock the wheelchair into a fixed position so the wheelchair is extremely safe.

We also fit International standard ‘Q-Straints’ or similar to each car to meet Australian Design Regulations (ADR’s) when required. This gives you an additional method to further secure your wheelchair for your safety.

In our opinion local aftermarket conversions simply cannot match the standards, resources, vehicle knowledge, and manufacturing quality of Toyota. That’s why Toyota’s welcab vehicles are so superior.

Wheelchair & Car Dimensions
Approximate Interior dimensions of the wheelchair seating position are as follows:
Middle Spot: Height: 135 cm | Length: 110 cm | Width: 75 cm
Rear Spot: Height: 140 cm | Length: 110 cm | Width: 77 cm

Overall Vehicle Dimensions:
Height: 193.5cm | Length: 486.5cm | Width: 183.0cm
Seating - 3 passengers + 2 wheelchairs or 6 + 1 wheelchair.

It's very important that you measure the wheelchair person sitting in their wheelchair from ground level to the top of their head to ensure this vehicle is right for them.

Engine, Economy & Reliability
The 2.4L 2AZ engine is an ultra-reliable motor consuming only 10 L/100km highway driving. These are excellent numbers in spite of the extra weight and engineering of the Toyota wheelchair modification.

Toyota engines are world renown for their longevity and reliability which is why it’s the main brand we now stock. It is also a reason why Toyota has a long history of being the largest selling manufacturer in the world. If you’re after reliability for your wheelchair vehicle, you’re after a Toyota Welcab – it really is that simple.

Pricing of our factory built Japanese Toyota and Nissan wheelchair vehicles is always lower than the European brands and also lower than the locally modified vans available here. Much more research and development has been done on the factory-built vehicles. As well we supply vehicles that are cheaper to run and maintain.

Warranty Options & After Sales Support

All our quality wheelchair vehicles come standard with a 3 month/5,000km warranty. Extended warranties of 1, 3 or 5 years are available upon request.

2016 NISSAN NV200

Stock # 1054
$44,900
These specialised Nissan Lifecare vans are all custom made so they have different wheelchair accessibility features. This one boasts 5 seats plus a wheelchair spot in the rear. Being a van, they have plenty of interior room for passengers to move within. This is absolutely a plus for a wheelchair access vehicle especially if you’re travelling and need extra room for all the bits and bobs you may need to travel with.

Our clients often say it’s important for them to be able to see through the windows of a car easily - these vans have excellent vision for all within. Our clients have also expressed their surprise when discovering how easy the NV200 is to drive – the joy of powered steering means the van drives like a small car but with all the added space, versatility, visibility and comfort of a larger car that’s actually not that much bigger than a sedan (check out car measurements below).

About this Vehicle

This is a sleek 2016 Nissan NV200 with a manual pull-out ramp and rear wheelchair spot. All restraints, ramp and wheelchair features of this van made in the Nissan factory in Japan by Nissan Lifecare which is the wheelchair and mobility vehicle range similar to Toyota Welcab. This new look NV200 has so much to offer: A large and functional interior space - the grab rails and seats can be taken out and put back in fairly easily. A stunning black exterior and a stylish modern shape. (Take a look at the photos and video above). All this value in a car for a price that is less than the price of a local aftermarket ramp – amazing but true!

Wheelchair Features

The Vanette Life Care is a specialized version of NV200 Vanette with a wheelchair entrance at the rear. The Nissan engineers have created a simple and effective design where a wheelchair can be easily and safely loaded into what is essentially a small van.

An easy to pull out lightweight aluminium ramp is lowered onto the ground. Using the remote, retractable belts can be pulled out towards the ramp and attached to the wheelchair. The belts then aid in ‘pulling’ the wheelchair into the car. The chair is fastened in by the restraints. Once the first wheelchair is in the second can be loaded or that space used to house accessibility equipment that may be needed.

Approximate interior dimensions of the wheelchair seating positions are as follows:

2015 NISSAN NV200

Stock # 1052
$39,800
This 2015 Nissan NV200 is in great condition. It is a great little van which has wide appeal overseas and is perfect for wheelchair traveling and transporting. It seats 2 in front, 2 in the middle with a wheelchair spot in the rear with a seat next to it so in total in has 5 fixed seats and a wheelchair spot. This particular vehicle has handy rails for clients to hold if needed. If not required these safety railings and grab bars can be taken out - as can the two seats in the middle. They are fastened to the floor with 4 bolts so can easily be taken out or put back in as per your needs.

One of the things that makes this vehicle so unique is its adaptability and functionality. It is these qualities which have made it popular in many countries as taxis, couriers and vans for tradies - all due to its unique interior shape, performance reliability and as mentioned above - it's adaptability. It was named the Professional Van and Light Truck Magazine Van of the Year in 2010.

Wheelchair Accessible Feature

The NV200 'Lifecare' has a wheelchair entrance at the rear hatch. It has a lightweight aluminium ramp which extends out of the vehicle. The original manufactured accessible equipment for the NV200 are; retractable belts which hook onto the front of the wheelchair. These retractable belts act as a safety feature - Once you activate a button at the rear the belts will 'hold' the wheelchair and stop it from rolling backwards. When the wheelchair is inside the vehicle 2 electric cables hook onto the rear of the wheelchair so it is firmly fastened at 4 points to the floor.

Integrity has also installed 4 Oval L Pocket Floor Anchorage Points which meet Australian Design Rules. ‘L’ Track Connector Q Restraint Retractors connect the wheelchair to the floor. They have a red lever which release the belt so the end hook can be attached to the wheelchair. Please see the video above.

State rules are often changing but at present in NSW the original equipment accessibility features meet regulations for wheelchairs travelling in vehicles. In QLD the regulations require Q'Straint pockets and retractor connectors.

Contrary to what some of our competitors say we CAN install and change Q'Straint positions in our vehicles. We welcome working with your OT to ensure the restraints are in the correct position and you and your wheelchair are travelling safely in the vehicle.

Wheelchair & Car Dimensions

The internal dimensions for the wheelchair are approximately;

It is our opinion after years in the wheelchair car industry that the standards, vehicle knowledge and manufacturing quality of Toyota Welcabs are second to none. 2012 TOYOTA ALPHARD

Stock # 1022
$55,800
If reliability and comfort is what you are looking for in a wheelchair accessible vehicle then look no further than this beautiful dark metallic blue 2012 Toyota Alphard Welcab sloper. It's in excellent condition inside and out and is the perfect car for somebody that doesn't want the standard looking wheelchair van because this looks more like a luxury van than a wheelchair vehicle. The Alphard and Vellfire are the luxury vans of Asia. It was designed to have a more comfortable interior and classy exterior with more strength and individuality.

The Welcab (wheelchair vehicle) feature is truly top of the range with rear wheelchair spot with electric restraints that winch the wheelchair into the car - check out the pictures above to see the OEM Original Equipment Manufactured belts and winch systems in action. It is a full size interior which supports 1 wheelchair plus 5 seats or 7 to 8 seats when the wheelchair is not in the car.

If you want to travel comfortably and in luxury then this is the car for you. The passengers have not been neglected - the front and second row seats are large and bucket shaped. The rear seats stow on the sides of the rear of the vehicle if not needed or if they are required they easily lower and lock into the car floor. Toyota Alphard Engine, Economy & Reliability

The Alphard is a 2.4 L, 4 Cylinder Automatic which travels at 11.6 km per litre. The Alphard is truly impressive and in our opinion the best there is in the wheelchair accessible vehicle (WELCAB) market.

As we have said many times before - Toyota engines are world renown for their longevity and reliability, which is why it’s the main brand we stock. It is also a reason why Toyota has a long history of being the largest selling manufacturer in the world. If you’re after reliability for your wheelchair vehicle, you’re after a Toyota Welcab – it really is that simple.

Pricing of our factory built Japanese Toyota wheelchair and mobility vehicles is always lower than the European brands, and also lower than the locally modified vans available here. Much more research and development has been done on the factory built vehicles. As well we supply vehicles that are cheaper to run and maintain.
