The Toyota Alphard is specially designed in factory by Toyota’s engineers and they are built with a welcab feature such as a sloper, a transfer chair or a transfer wheelchair.

This Alphard is a sloper – it is named after the hydraulic sloping mechanism in the rear of the vehicle. As the car lowers an electric ramp unfolds at the same time. The lightweight yet strong aluminium ramp touches the ground at a 9 to 12-degree angle allowing a gentle incline for the wheelchair occupant to be loaded into the car.

When inside the car, Original Engineered and Manufactured (OEM) retractable belts and wire cables safely and securely lock the wheelchair in place for safe motoring. At the push of a button the belts and wire cables lock the wheelchair into a fixed position so the wheelchair is extremely safe.

We also fit International standard ‘Q-Straints’ or similar to each car to meet Australian Design Regulations (ADR’s) when required. This gives you an additional method to further secure your wheelchair for your safety.

This is a battery powered transfer wheelchair 2012 Toyota Porte. It has a metallic silver exterior and tasteful cream interior. The Porte is like the Welcab (wheelchair accessible vehicle) version of the Toyota Yaris. A metallic silver 2011 Noah Welcab Sloper is in excellent condition and has only travelled a verified 41,500 km. It seats 1 wheelchair spot + 3 passengers (depending on the size of the wheelchair) or 4-6 seats. For the wheelchair position It has front belts on a winch pulley system. If you engage the pulley system it helps pull the wheelchair into the car for you - no more pushing or lifting!

This is a Japanese Toyota factory designed, engineered and installed hydraulic ramp and sloper. Accordingly, the fitment and quality is perfect and the ramp operates effortlessly at the touch of a button. (Take a look at the pics above)

When activated, the ramp lowers down and the rear of the car also lowers hydraulically (hence the name sloper) to create an optimal angle for the wheelchair person to easily navigate up the reduced incline.

As mentioned above this Noah has the added feature of pulley belts so when the belts are hooked onto the wheelchair the remote activates the pulley system to engage and 'pull' the wheelchair into the vehicle.
