2009 TOYOTA NOAH

You don’t see many cars like this one. It is a 7 seater with a new look stylish shape which has a transfer power wheelchair seat in the second row. Like the Porte’s this car has a comfy bucket seat chair which is sitting on an electric arm. At the push of a button the arm rotates, lifts slightly and lowers the wheelchair half way out of the car. It pauses while the wheels of the seat lower then all is completely lowered to the ground. Without a doubt people are very impressed when they see the extraordinary fitment, engineering and practicality of these well designed transfer chair welcabs. The greatest thing about this type of wheelchair feature is you can use the transfer chair or not depending on who you have in the car with you. If you are not using the chair it just becomes one of 7 seats in this well designed family car. This Noah was purchased from us in Feb 2023 with 70,000km and Tony has looked after it and now has done 83,200km. The Spade has an OEM wheelchair fitted into the passenger seat. The chair is sitting on an electric arm which rotates and lowers out of the vehicle and then detaches. The chair is powered by a battery which is housed behind the wheelchair. The carer can easily push or drive the wheelchair from the rear. The wheelchair occupant can also drive the chair via a toggle on the arm of the wheelchair. When re-entering the car, the wheelchair is simply positioned onto the extended electric arm which then raises the wheelchair back into the car, turns 90 degrees to return the chair to the correct position.

The chair then detaches for use and the person literally can drive away. There are hand controls on both the wheelchair itself for the passenger as well as additional controls at the rear of the chair for the carer should they be required.
When re-entering the car, the wheelchair is simply positioned onto the extended electric arm which then raises the wheelchair back into the car, and turns 90 degrees to return the chair to the correct position.
The passenger wheelchair seat is especially clever and warrants further elaboration. It’s a fully autonomous power wheelchair with up to 4.5km’s travel distance on a single charge.

2009 TOYOTA VOXY

A metallic silver 2009 Voxy Welcab Sloper is in excellent condition and has only travelled a verified 65,000 km. It seats 1 wheelchair spot + 3 passengers (depending on the size of the wheelchair) or 4-6 seats. For the wheelchair position it has front belts on a winch pulley system. If you engage the pulley system it helps pull the wheelchair into the car for you - no more pushing or lifting!
We have many cars in stock and this one presents particularly well with a metallic silver exterior and dark interior - perfect for cleaning and hiding any spills. Toyota Voxy Wheelchair Feature
This is a Japanese Toyota factory designed, engineered and installed hydraulic ramp and sloper. Accordingly, the fitment and quality is perfect and the ramp operates effortlessly at the touch of a button. (Take a look at the pics and the video above)
When activated, the ramp extends out and lowers and the rear of the car also lowers hydraulically (hence the name sloper) to create an optimal angle for the wheelchair person to easily navigate up the reduced incline.
As mentioned above this Voxy has the added feature of pulley belts so when the belts are hooked onto the wheelchair the remote activates the pulley system to engage and 'pull' the wheelchair into the vehicle. When inside the car, Original Engineered and Manufactured (OEM) retractable belts securely lock the wheelchair in place for safe motoring.
We also fit International standard Q'Straint wheelchair restraints to meet Australian Design Rules & Regulations (ADRs). This gives you 4 points (front and back of the wheelchair) to secure your wheelchair/scooter to the floor of the vehicle. Check out the video above to see how these work. The 2L 4 Cylinder 3ZR-FE engine is an ultra-reliable motor consuming only 5.5L/100km on highway driving. These are excellent numbers in spite of the extra weight and engineering of the Toyota wheelchair modification.

The wheelchair spot in the second row has close proximity to the driver. It has a carers seat next to it for those passengers who need constant access to their carer. Also riding in the second row gives the wheelchair passenger great vision, ample room and a comfortable ride.
The Toyota Voxy is an incredibly popular Welcab that drives more like a sedan. If you may be reluctant to drive a van - don't be, once you try you will be surprised at how easy it is to drive! And we make it that much easier for you if you take advantage of our 'Try Before You Buy' program; you can rent a vehicle for a week to experience it and decide if it really is the car you want and need. Toyota Voxy Wheelchair Feature
This is a Japanese Toyota factory designed, engineered and installed hydraulic ramp and sloper. Accordingly, the fitment and quality is perfect and the ramp operates effortlessly at the touch of a button. (Take a look at the pictures above)
When activated, the ramp lowers and the rear of the car also lowers hydraulically (hence the name sloper) to create an optimal angle for the wheelchair person to easily navigate up the reduced incline.
As mentioned above this Voxy has the added feature of pulley belts so when the belts are hooked onto the wheelchair a switch activates the pulley system to engage and 'pull' the wheelchair into the vehicle. When inside the car, Original Engineered and Manufactured (OEM) retractable belts securely lock the wheelchair in place for safe motoring.
We also fit International standard ‘Q-Straints’ or similar to each car to meet Australian Design Regulations (ADR’s) when required. This gives you an additional method to further secure your wheelchair/scooter for your safety.

This understated yet elegant pearl white 2008 Toyota Vellfire Welcab sloper is the perfect car for someone who prefers a more luxurious looking vehicle. It was designed to have an ultra comfortable interior and classy exterior. The Vellfire has a commanding presence on the road and the best thing about them is they do not look like a wheelchair accessibility vehicle.
The Welcab (wheelchair vehicle) feature has a rear wheelchair spot with electric restraints that winch the wheelchair into the car - check out the pictures above to see the OEM Original Equipment Manufactured belts and winch systems in action. It is a full size interior which supports 2 wheelchairs with 3 seats or 7 seats when the wheelchair spot in the rear is not being used.
The passengers have not been neglected - the front passenger seat is a recliner with a foot rest so you can truly relax on those long highway trips. The driver's seat has electric memory which moves upwards, downwards, forward and back - so you can find that perfectly comfortable driving position. The rear seats stow on the sides of the rear of the vehicle if not needed or if they are required they easily lower and lock into the car floor. Toyota Vellfire Wheelchair Feature
The rear of the Vellfire has an aluminium ramp which is operated by a corded controller positioned in a cradle in the rear left side of the vehicle. Press the controller and the ramp extends out. At the same time the rear of the vehicle hydraulically lowers to create a low gradient for the wheelchair to be able to access.
In this Vellfire the rear wheelchair position has an OEM Winch where the belts can extend out of the vehicle and pull the wheelchair into the vehicle. We have installed rear Q Straints to meet Australian Design Rules and can custom fit the position of the front Q Straints so that they fit your particular wheelchair.
