The restraint hooks are extended and locked onto the appropriate position on the wheelchair. Two points holding the front and two holding the rear. The rear ramp is powered by a hand held remote which electrically lowers and while it does so the rear of the vehicle hydraulically lowers to enable an easier access into the vehicle.
