The dual option of this Alphard allows great flexibility for the wheelchair passenger. If the passenger can stand or have good upper strength they can easily transfer into the front seat while their wheelchair is safely stowed in the rear or they can sit in the rear on their wheelchair. Also it is easy to transfer down - so from wheelchair down to the passenger seat and vice versa.

It also offers a further option - if you need a wheelchair space and also have a family member that finds it difficult to get in and out of a car then this car will satisfy both needs.

About the Alphard

These cars were designed with ease of use and comfort in mind. It has exceptional handling stability and a roomy interior which lends itself well to be an ideal transport for wheelchair passengers. The bucket velour seats are wide and soft with plenty of legroom. The rear seats are incredibly simple to raise and lower if needed.

With full electrical component features the Alphard has all the extras you’d expect - power windows, mirrors, dual AC, a second row passenger side power door (operational from a button on the dash), interior ‘mood’ lighting (again – from a button on the dash). Toyota Carplay stereo system Reverse Camera and Bluetooth (check out all the features listed below), ultra soft quality seats and carpets.

When inside the car, Original Engineered and Manufactured (OEM) retractable belts and wire cables safely and securely lock the wheelchair in place for safe motoring. At the push of a button the belts and wire cables lock the wheelchair into a fixed position so the wheelchair is extremely safe. We also fit International standard Oval pockets and ‘Q-Straints’ or similar to each car to meet Australian Design Regulations (ADR’s).

This sleek pearl white 2009 Toyota Alphard Welcab presents beautifully. Have a look at the pictures above and you will agree that this vehicle does not it's age. Add to this that It has 2 wheelchair positions - one in the middle and one in the rear which gives it a lot of versatility. What this means is that you can potentially travel with 2 wheelchairs in the vehicle - depending on the size of the wheelchair. Or the wheelchair passenger can use the rear position when they need to exit and enter quickly and use the middle position when going for a longer drive.

Integrity have installed additional floor anchorage points that meet Australian design rules (ADRs). This Alphard , like all our vehicles come with an engineers certificate (VSCCS) for wheelchair use by an RMS appointed engineer that covers all states and territories Australia wide.

Contrary to what some of our competitors say we can install and change Q'Straint positions in our vehicles. We welcome working with your OT to ensure the restraints are in the correct position and you and your wheelchair are travelling safely in the vehicle.

The Alphard was designed with an amazing handling stability and extra comfortable suspension especially designed for the comfort of wheelchair passengers.

The rear of the vehicle lowers and the lightweight aluminium ramp extends out of the rear of the vehicle to create a gradient of 9 to 12 degrees which is easier for the wheelchair to access and move easily into the rear of the car. A stylish and classy 2010 Toyota Alphard Welcab sloper in great condition inside and out and is the perfect car for somebody that doesn't want the standard looking wheelchair van because this looks more like a luxury van than a wheelchair vehicle.
