About this Vehicle
These cars were designed with ease of use and comfort in mind. The bucket velour seats are wide and soft with plenty of legroom. The rear seats are incredibly simple to operate. When not in use the rear seats stow on the interior sides of the vehicle. When in use they simply lower and lock into the floor.

Toyota’s Welcab vehicles are manufactured with quality and durability. This Alphard has all the extras you’d expect - power windows, mirrors, dual AC, a second-row passenger side power doors (operational from buttons on the dash), interior ‘mood’ lighting (again – from a button on the dash). We have also added a Carplay stereo system with reverse camera and Bluetooth (check out all the features listed below).

Wheelchair Features
This Alphard is a sloper – it is named after the hydraulic sloping mechanism in the rear of the vehicle. As the car lowers an electric ramp unfolds at the same time. The lightweight yet strong aluminium ramp touches the ground at a 9 to 12-degree angle allowing a gentle incline for the wheelchair occupant to be loaded into the car.

We fit International standard 4 point wheelchair securement systems to each car to meet Australian Design Regulations (ADR’s). This vehicle has 'oval pockets' which fit into the floor of both the middle and rear positions. This gives the person in the wheelchair the option to be in the middle row or in the rear row. Each oval pocket has a retractor which is placed on top of the pocket. There are two retractors in the front and 2 in the back of the wheelchair which are firmly secured to the front and back of the wheelchair.

This unique Alphard has been modified with hand controls as well as the power ramp at the back. The previous owner used to drive her wheelchair in the back and transfer in the front driver's seat and use the hand controls to drive. This Alphard is a workhorse and has been for many years to the previous owner who only upgraded due to her circumstances.
