This is a Long Wheel Base 2014 VW Caravelle modified for 2 wheelchairs in the rear. It seats 6 plus 2 wheelchairs. It has a certificate of modification for Queensland and a Vehicle Safety Compliance Certificate for NSW. It has NSW registration to August 31st 2026.

This Caravelle is a 2L turbo diesel and very fuel efficient averaging 8 L/100 KM. They are a popular vehicle because they are stylish - who doesn't know and love the look of a VW van! They have a roomy interior, you get all the perks of driving a van but as the height is 1990 mm you still get to be able to drive and park in undercover car parks - something you often can't do in a van. This 2016 diesel Toyota Hiace Commuter Welcab. It has a power wheelchair hoist in the rear and is really in excellent condition. With only 87,500 km on the clock it is the perfect vehicle for anyone wanting to transport a larger group of people. This van has been manufactured in the Toyota factory as a wheelchair accessible vehicle so the hoist is made to fit this particular vehicle.

All our Hiaces come with dual airbags - Please be aware of vehicles being sold without dual airbags. We add wheelchair restraint systems to comply with ADRs.

Safety handrails for wheelchair occupants and double seatbelts ensure passengers are looked after in the rear of the vehicle. There are also handrails for the second row seats, power windows A/C, airbags, central locking and child restraints.

Toyota Hiace Wheelchair Feature

The wheelchair accessible features on the Hiace were designed and engineered in the Toyota factory. It was fitted with an easy to use power operated wheelchair hoist and facilitates a simple powered entry. It has a lift capacity of 300 kg so is able to lift the heavy wheelchairs.

Integrity have fitted ADR Compliant QRT -1 Series Q Straints to the wheelchair position on the hoist. 2 in front and 2 in the back of the wheelchair.

In our opinion the standards, vehicle knowledge and manufacturing quality of Toyota Welcabs are excellent with regards to rear ramps, and hoists. A stylish and classy 2010 Toyota Alphard Welcab sloper in great condition inside and out and is the perfect car for somebody that doesn't want the standard looking wheelchair van because this looks more like a luxury van than a wheelchair vehicle. It was designed to have a more comfortable interior and classy exterior with more strength and individuality. This Alphard has the wheelchair spot in the rear and is what we call a 8 seater with rear fold away seats that can be removed to make visibility better for the wheelchair passenger.


The Welcab (wheelchair vehicle) feature is truly top of the range with rear wheelchair spot with electric restraints that winch the wheelchair into the car - check out the pictures above to see the OEM Original Equipment Manufactured belts and winch systems in action. It is a full size interior which supports 1 wheelchairs with 5 seats or 7 to 8 seats when the wheelchair is not in the car.

If you want to travel comfortably and in luxury then this is the car for you. The passengers have not been neglected - the front and second row seats are large and bucket shaped.
