The front passenger seat is a transfer chair that sits on an electric turntable that turns the chair and extends it out of the car (see pictures above). The rear of the Alphard lowers hydraulically and the ramp folds out onto the ground to allow a reduced and safe incline for the wheelchair to enter the car (Sloper).
